Christine Miles is Founder and CEO of EQuipt, LLC a business devoted to transforming people to achieve unprecedented business results. The linchpin to getting these results is arming people with the tools to develop the intangible emotional skills (EQ) that the top 10% of performers possess.
The first five years of her career was spent as a family systems therapist. These early experiences taught her how to affect people in a system to work together to transform and find a better way of functioning. Although she felt that she was making a difference, something was missing. Watching her father at a young age develop his business and talking with him about his clients, her passion for business was born. At the age of 26, she was determined to find a way to apply the principles of psychology to business.
Christine spent 14 years working for an Employee Assistance Program running the organizational development arm of the business; selling, designing and delivering training. Helping people learn how to be more effective as managers, leaders, have difficult conversations, manage conflict, understand harassment and bias, and communicate effectively was my daily work life. She then began her own executive coaching consulting business, to Fortune 500 companies, helping companies grow sales and revenue, develop people and create transformative cultures. To help businesses understand and use the power of story as a cutting-edge communication tool, she authored “The Art of The Nudge”.
Through both her professional and personal experiences, Christine learned that most people were not taught the emotional skills and simply needed tools to learn HOW to develop their EQ that sets them apart. In late 2018, I decided it was time to parlay all of my experiences together and formed EQuipt, LLC., a women-owned business.
Christine also hosts a weekly business radio show where executive leaders share their personal story of who they were growing up and how that impacts their passion and success today. Executive Leaders Radio is the #1 business radio show in the Mid-Atlantic states and broadcasts nationally on 91 stations. She also currently serves on the Rohrer College of Business Advisory Board at Rowan University, is a Certified Systems Therapist through the Philadelphia Child Guidance Center, a National VISTAGE Speaker, and a Certified Predictive Index Trainer.
Christine received her bachelor’s degree of Science from Millersville University and her M.S. Ed. in Psychological services from the University of Pennsylvania. She was also recognized as an All-American and Academic All-American Athlete at Millersville, a member of the U.S. Field Hockey Squad (Top 60) in 1987 and 1993 and, coached the women’s Field Hockey team at the University of Pennsylvania.
With her expertise in working with executives and their teams, Christine works with VOCE team members to clearly understand a customer's needs and create solutions to drive innovation and growth for a company.
